14KT White Gold 14.90ctw Coral and Diamond Dangle Earrings A6252. Great Condition! AT4522DC. One pair electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast & assembled red coral & diamond dangle earrings. Condition is new, good workmanship. Each earring dangle features a cabochon coral set within tiered diamond bezels, supported by a diamond ribbon. Bright polish finish. Containing: Two prong set round cabochon cut natural red corals, measuring 12.50 x 12.50 x 6.25mm, approximate total weight of 14.90ct., clarity is slightly included, medium, slightly brownish, orangy red color, (GIA oR 5/2), cut is good. Graded in the setting. Red Coral (Corallium Japonicum) is formed undersea by microscopic animals called coral polyps. These tiny, creatures form minute, hard shells. As a colony grows, it takes on complex branching, tree-like forms which allows the maximum number of polyps to be fed by the nutrients in the water. It grows about one quarter inch per year. This color of coral is commonly treated to improve or change the color and stability. Evidence that may confirm this is typically lacking. Sixty-six prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.70 - 1.40 x 0.93mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 66 Stones = 1.22ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity VS -2 to SI- 2. Color I - K. Total Weight of Colored Stones 14.90ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.22ct. Total Weight of Dangle Earrings 10.84gm. AIG Appraised at $10,300.00.
