DEMO LOT
One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast ruby and diamond ring. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured ruby is set within a stylized diamond bezel supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a two and one-half millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with milgrain detailing throughout. Trademark is PMI. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 16.80 x 13.50 x 7.70mm, 10%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 15.55ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Sixty-Six bead set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.30 - 1.20 x 0.75mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 66 Stones = 0.56ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: I-1 to I-3. Color: G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 15.55ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.56ct. Total Weight of Ring 10.00 grams. AIG Appraised at $5,880.00.
