14KT White Gold 16.86ctw Ruby and Diamond Earrings A5733. Great Condition. WC3052VV. One pair electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond earrings with hinged, snap locking posts. Condition is new, good workmanship. Each earring features a dangle consisting of a ruby set within a tiered diamond bezel, completed by a diamond set huggie. Bright polish finish. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: Two prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 12.00 x 11.20 x 7.00mm, approximate total weight of 16.86ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Measurements & the color grade are an average for the pair. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Sixty-six prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.80 - 1.70 x 1.05mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 66 Stones = 1.34ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to I-1. Color G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 16.86ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.34ct. Total Weight of Earrings 10.61gm. AIG Appraised at $9,655.00.
