DEMO LOT
One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast ruby and diamond ring. The featured ruby is set within a diamond bezel supported by diamond accented shoulders, completed by a two millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with milgrain detailing. Trademark is PMI. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 8.10 x 6.25 x 4.65mm, 8%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 2.07ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, red color, (GIA R 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Thirty prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.30 - 1.10 x 0.72mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 30 Stones = 0.29ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-1 to I-1. Color: H - J. Total Weight of Colored Stones 2.07ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.29ct. Total Weight of Ring 3.18 grams. AIG Appraised at $1,985.00.
