14KT White Gold 21.84ct GIA Cert Tanzanite and Diamond Ring A6396. Great Condition! YV50031FD. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within a diamond bezel supported by stylized split shoulders, completed by a one and one-half millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with rope detailing throughout. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set oval modified brilliant cut natural tanzanite, measuring 18.96 x 15.23 x 10.66mm, exact weight 21.84ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, dark, moderately strong, violetish blue color, (GIA vB 7/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. GIA Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded loose prior to setting in the GIA Laboratory, Report #2151735164. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Four prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 3.00 - 3.00 x 1.80mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 4 Stones = 0.45ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-2 to I-1. Color H - J. Twenty-four prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.50 - 2.40 x 1.47mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 24 Stones = 1.40ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-2 to I-2. Color H - J. Total Weight of Colored Stones 21.84ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.85ct. Total Weight of Ring 13.49gm. AIG Appraised at $61,335.00.
