14KT White Gold 25.67ct GIA Cert Tanzanite and Diamond Ring A6405. Great Condition! VF40051RS. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within a two tiered diamond lattice gallery, completed by a four millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set triangle modified brilliant cut natural tanzanite, measuring 18.52 x 19.13 x 12.10mm, exact weight 25.67ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium dark, moderately strong, violet. Color, (GIA V 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. GIA Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded loose prior to setting in the GIA Laboratory, Report # 2151735292. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Sixty-three prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.10 - 2.00 x 1.23mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 63 Stones = 2.06ct. Faint brown secondary color throughout. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to SI-2. Color J - L. Total Weight of Colored Stones 25.67ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 2.06ct. Total Weight of Ring 17.10gm. AIG Appraised at $76,780.00.
