14KT white gold 3.06ct Blue Topaz and Diamond Ring A6560. Great Condition! VZ656NF. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast blue topaz and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. The featured blue topaz is set within a diamond bezel supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a one millimeter wide band. Trademark is ORIANNE. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set round mixed cut natural blue topaz, measuring 8.90 - 9.00 x 5.00 mm, 5%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 3.06ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium, very slightly grayish, very slightly greenish blue color, (GIA vslgB 5/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Graded in the setting.A deposit of a thin layer has been applied to the topaz to produce the intense color effect. The process utilizes a very high temperature treatment, diffusion of ions into the topaz, plus in some cases neutron bombardment has been used to create the color center. Diffusion processes causes the added ions to become part of the crystal surface with no distinct boundary. Do not put a gem treated in this manner into an ultrasonic cleaner.Thirty-Two prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.50 - 1.40 x 0.87mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 32 Stones = 0.39ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-2 to I-2. Color: G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 3.06ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.39ct. AIG Appraised at $ 1,795.00.
