14KT White Gold 3.29ctw Tanzanite and Diamond Ring RM1563. Great Condition! EV2001SR. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast & assembled tanzanite and diamond ring. The featured tanzanite is set within a tanzanite and diamond bezel supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a patterned one and one-half millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with milgrain detailing. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural tanzanite, measuring 10.10 x 8.00 x 4.50mm, 10%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 2.70ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium, very slightly grayish, bluish violet color, (GIA bV 5/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Graded in the setting. Seven prong set round mixed cut natural tanzanites, measuring 2.50 - 2.50 x 1.63 mm, approximate. Total Weight of 0.59ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium, very slightly grayish, bluish violet color, (GIA bV 5/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Graded in the setting. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Fifteen prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.20 - 1.80 x 1.20mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 15 Stones = 0.52ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: I-1 to I-2. Color: H - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 3.29ct.. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.52ct. AIG Appraised at $7,990.00.
