14KT White Gold 36.81ct GIA Cert Tanzanite and Diamond Ring A6258. Great Condition! UY30071KR. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within tiered diamond bezels supported by tapering shoulders, completed by a three and one-half millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set oval modified brilliant cut natural tanzanite, measuring 22.54 x 17.60 x 12.30mm, exact weight 36.81ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium dark, moderately strong, violetish blue color, (GIA vB 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. GIA Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded loose prior to setting in the GIA Laboratory, Report #6157735901. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Seventy-two prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.20 - 2.00 x 1.26mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 72 Stones = 2.62ct. Faint brown secondary color throughout. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to I-1. Color J - L. Total Weight of Colored Stones 36.81ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 2.62ct. Total Weight of Ring 22.58gm. AIG Appraised at $108,350.00.
