14KT White Gold 4.84ct Ruby and Diamond Ring GB3511. Good Condition! XD8524TX. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast ruby and diamond ring. Condition is good. The featured ruby is set within a diamond bezel supported by an elaborated diamond set under gallery and shoulders, completed by a five and one-half millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with milgrain detailing. Ring size 8.75. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 11.80 x 9.60 x 4.70mm, 10% bulge factor, approximate weight of 4.84ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. One hundred seventy-five prong and channel set round brilliant and princess cut diamonds approximate total weight of 175 Stones = 3.50ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity VS-1 to SI-1. Color G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 4.84ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 3.50ct. Total Weight of Ring 16.80gm. AIG Appraised at $14,635.00.
