One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within tiered diamond bezels supported by diamond set three way split shoulders, completed by a three millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural tanzanite, measuring 14.25 x 10.55 x 5.50mm, 10% bulge factor, approximate weight of 6.23ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium dark, very slightly grayish, bluish violet color, (GIA bV 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded in the setting. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Twenty-Eight prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.00 - 1.90 x 1.17mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 28 Stones = 0.85ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to I-1. Color G - I. Seventy-Six prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.50 - 1.50 x 0.90mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 76 Stones = 1.03ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to I-1. Color G - I. Sixty prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 0.90 - 0.80 x 0.51mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 60 Stones = 0.23ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to I-1. Color G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 6.23 ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 2.11 ct. Total Weight of Ring 10.25 grams. AIG Appraised at $23,985.00.
