14KT white gold 6.70ct Tanzanite and Diamond Ring A6671. Great Condition! XY7052DY. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. The featured tanzanite is set within an elaborate diamond lattice gallery, supported by split shoulders and completed by a two millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set rectangular cushion mixed cut natural tanzanite, measuring 13.00 x 9.30 x 7.00mm, approximate weight of 6.70ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium, very slightly grayish, violet color, (GIA V 5/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded in the setting.Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method.Two Hundred Ten prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.00 - 1.00 x 0.60mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 210 Stones = 1.12ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: I-1 to I-2. Color: G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 6.70ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.12ct. AIG Appraised at $19,600.00.
