14KT White Gold 7.27ct Tanzanite and Diamond Ring RM1854. Great Condition! XM7052DZ. One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite & diamond ring with a bright finish. The featured tanzanite is set within a three tiered (one is yellow gold) diamond bezel, supported by a white gold under gallery and diamond set shoulders, completed by a three and one half millimeter wide band. Trademark is RT. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set round cut natural tanzanite, measuring 11.20 - 11.20 x 8.40 mm, approximate weight of 7.27ct., clarity is slightly included, type I, medium, very slightly grayish, violet color, (GIA V 5/3) to medium, slightly grayish, bluish purple, (GIA bP 5/2), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded in the setting. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. One Hundred Sixty channel and prong set round brilliant & baguette cut diamonds approximate. Total Weight of 160 Stones = 1.54ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: VS-2 to I-2. Color: G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 7.27ct.. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.54ct. AIG Appraised at $23,500.00.
