One electronically tested 14KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within a two tiered diamond lattice gallery, supported by diamond set split shoulders and completed by a four millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with milgrain detailing throughout. Trademark is UCG. Identified with markings of "14K 585". Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural tanzanite, measuring 13.85 x 10.85 x 7.20mm, 8%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 8.01ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium dark, moderately strong, bluish violet color, (GIA bV 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded in the setting. Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Forty-Four prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.40 - 1.30 x 0.81mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 44 Stones = 0.49ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-2 to I-2. Color: F - H Fifty-Four prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.60 - 1.50 x 0.93mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 54 Stones = 0.83ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-2 to I-2. Color: F - H. Total Weight of Colored Stones 8.01ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.32ct. Total Weight of Ring 8.70 grams. AIG Appraised at $25,525.00.
