14KT Yellow Gold 0.40ct Ruby and Diamond Ring A6797. good Condition! KU854YF. One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled diamond and ruby ring with a bright polish finish. The featured diamond is set within a ruby floret supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a one and one-half millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is good. Containing: One prong set round brilliant cut diamond, measuring 3.60 - 3.50 x 2.00mm (depth est.) approximate weight of 0.15ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-2 . Color: H Eight prong set round mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 2.30 - 2.20 x 1.46 mm, approximate. Total Weight of 0.40ct., clarity is slightly included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, red color, (GIA R 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Color grade is an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Total Weight of Colored Stones 0.40ct.. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.15ct. AIG Appraised at $ 1,675.00.
