One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled blue topaz and diamond bracelet. Condition is good. Seven and one-quarter inch length bracelet features a flexible blue topaz and diamond ribbon, terminating in a concealed claps with safety. Bright polish finish. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: Twenty-five prong set oval mixed cut natural blue topazes, measuring 7.00 x 5.00 x 3.30mm, approximate. Total Weight of 21.00ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium dark, moderately strong, very slightly greenish blue color, (GIA vslgB 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. Measurements & the color grade are an average for the group. Graded in the setting. A deposit of a thin layer has been applied to the topaz to produce the intense color effect. The process utilizes a very high temperature treatment, diffusion of ions into the topaz, plus in some cases neutron bombardment has been used to create the color center. Diffusion processes causes the added ions to become part of the crystal surface with no distinct boundary. Do not put a gem treated in this manner into an ultrasonic cleaner. Twenty-Five prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.40 - 2.35 x 1.40mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 25 Stones = 1.30ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-1 to I-1. Color: H - J. Total Weight of Colored Stones 21.00ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.30ct. Total Weight of Bracelet 21.91 grams. AIG Appraised at $7,835.00.
