14KT Yellow Gold 24.63ctw Ruby and Diamond Earrings A5434. Great Condition. QM2152LU. One pair electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond earrings with standard backs. Condition is new, good workmanship. Each earring features a dangle consisting of a ruby set within an elaborate diamond set frame, completed by a diamond set ribbon. Bright polish finish with milgrain detailing. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: Two prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 14.00 x 12.00 x 8.30mm, approximate total weight of 24.63ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Measurements & the color grade are an average for the pair. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Fifty prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.60 - 2.00 x 1.38mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 50 Stones = 1.87ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to SI-2. Color G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 24.63ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.87ct. Total Weight of Earrings 14.95gm. AIG Appraised at $13,850.00.
