14KT Yellow Gold 3.08ctw Ruby and Diamond Ring A7085. Great Condition! VM357UF. One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast ruby and diamond ring. The featured ruby is accented by a single ruby on either side and set within mirroring diamond ribbons, completed by a three millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with milgrain detailing throughout. Identified with markings of "K14". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set round mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 7.95 - 7.90 x 4.90 mm, 10%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 2.73ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Two prong set round mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 2.80 - 2.70 x 1.79 mm, approximate. Total Weight of 0.35ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Color grade is an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Thirty-Eight bead set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.70 - 1.60 x 0.99mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 38 Stones = 0.72ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: VS-1 to SI-1 . Color: J - L. Total Weight of Colored Stones 3.08ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.72ct. AIG Appraised at $4,125.00.
