One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond pendant with chain. Condition is new, good workmanship. The pendant features a stylized ruby and diamond floret, completed by a diamond set bail. The pendant is supported by an eighteen inch length 14KT yellow gold designer style chain, terminating in a lobster claw clasp. Bright polish finish. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: Seventeen prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies approximate total weight of 34.26ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. The color grade is an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Sixty-nine prong & bead set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.50 - 2.20 x 0.00mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 69 Stones = 3.28ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to I-1. Color G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 34.26ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 3.28ct. Total Weight of Pendant With Chain 35.44gm. AIG Appraised at $22,025.00.
