14KT Yellow Gold 4.58ct Ruby and Diamond Ring RM1906. Great Condition! VD4011HE. One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast ruby & diamond ring. The ring features a ruby set within a tiered diamond bezel, supported by a diamond lattice under gallery and diamond set shoulders, completed by a three millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with rhodium accents. Containing: One prong set round mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 9.00 - 8.90 x 5.90 mm, approximate weight of 4.58ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, moderately strong, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/4), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. One Hundred Eight prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.40 - 1.10 x 0.75mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 108 Stones = 0.93ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-1 to I-1. Color: G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 4.58ct.. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.93ct. AIG Appraised at $4,990.00.
