One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond necklace. Seventeen and one-half inch length necklace features a ruby and diamond pendant supported by a flexible ruby and diamond ribbon, terminating in a concealed clasp with safety. Bright polish finish with milgrain detailing. Identified with markings of "14K". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 15.00. x 13.50 x 7.25mm, 8%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 12.72ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Forty-six prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 6.00. x 4.00. x 2.90mm, 6%. bulge factor, approximate total weight of 28.06ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Measurements & the color grade are an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Ninety-Four bezel and prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.10 - 2.00. x 1.23mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 94 Stones = 3.06ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-1 to I-1 . Color: G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 40.78ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 3.06ct. Total Weight of Necklace 32.32 grams. AIG Appraised at $19,490.00.
