One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond pendant with chain. Condition is new, good workmanship. The pendant features a ruby set within a diamond bezel, completed by a diamond set bail. The pendant is supported by an eighteen inch length designer style 14KT yellow gold chain with rhodium accents, terminating in a lobster claw clasp. Bright polish finish with rhodium accents. Trademark is Orianne. Identified with marking of "14K". Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 24.00 x 21.50 x 9.50mm, 20% bulge factor, approximate weight of 47.11ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA s1Pr 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indication of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additive. Colored stone grading report attached. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. One hundred sixteen prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.60 - 1.40 x 0.90mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 116 stones = 1.54ct. Grade dint he setting. Clarity I-1 to I-2. Color H - I. Total Weight of Ruby 47.11ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.54ct. Total Weight of Pendant With Chain 25.58gm. AIG Appraised at $19,420.00.
