14KT Yellow Gold 49.56ctw Ruby and Diamond Necklace RM1350. Good Condition. LU2005SM. One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond necklace. Condition is new, good workmanship. The eighteen inch flexible necklace features a series of ruby & diamond bezels, completed by a concealed clasp with twin safeties. Bright polish finish with rhodium accents. Trademark is ORIANNE. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: Forty-three prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 7.10 x 5.20 x 3.38mm, 10% bulge factor, approximate total weight of 49.56ctw., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Seven hundred seventy-three prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.40 - 1.30 x 0.81mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 773 Stones = 6.80ctw. Graded in the setting. Clarity: I-1 to I-2. Color: G-I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 49.56ctw. Total Weight of Diamonds 6.80ctw. Total Weight of Necklace 36.00 grams. AIG Appraised at $28,900.00.
