One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond necklace with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. Seventeen and one-half inch length necklace features a flexible ribbon consisting of oval shaped rubies and diamonds interspersed by round brilliant diamonds, terminating in a concealed clasp with safety. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: Seventy-four prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 6.20 x 4.50 x 2.60mm, 10%. bulge factor, approximate. Total Weight of 50.40ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Measurements & the color grade are an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Six prong set oval shaped cut diamonds, measuring 6.20 x 4.50 x 2.85mm (depth est.), 10.00.%. GTCF approximate. Total Weight of 6 Stones = 3.41ct. The group is composed of a mix of faint and very light yellow natural color diamonds. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-2 to I-1 Thirty-One prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.50 - 2.30 x 1.44mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 31 Stones = 1.59ct. Faint brown secondary color throughout. Graded in the setting. Clarity: I-1 to I-3. Color: I - K. Total Weight of Colored Stones 50.40ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 5.00ct. Total Weight of Necklace 39.52 grams. AIG Appraised at $26,945.00.
