14KT Yellow Gold 6.95ct. Ruby and Diamond Ring RM1464. Great Condition. XK2001KE. One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast ruby and diamond ring. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured ruby is set within a diamond bezel supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a one and one-half millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with migraine detailing. Trademark is PMI. Identified with markings of "14K". Containing: One prong set rectangular step cut natural ruby, measuring 11.00 x 9.00 x 6.00mm, approximate weight of 6.95ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Forty-eight prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.30 - 1.10 x 0.72mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 48 Stones = 0.33ctw. Graded in the setting. Clarity: Si-1 to I-1. Color H-J. Total Weight of Colored Stones 6.95ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.33ctw. Total Weight of Ring 4.95 gm. AIG Appraised at $3,825.00.
