14KT Yellow Gold 64.39ctw Ruby and Diamond Necklace RM1368. Good Condition. TB2573SG. One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond necklace with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. The eighteen inch necklace features a ruby and diamond set floral bouquet pendant supported by a ribbon of rubies terminating in a hidden box clasp with safety. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One hundred fourteen prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies, approximate total weight of 64.93ctw., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, moderately strong, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. The color grade is an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Thirty-two prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.60 -1.50 x 0.93mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 32 Stones = 0.64ctw. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-2 to I-2. Color I-K. Total Weight of Colored Stones 64.39ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.64ctw. Total Weight of Necklace 39.90 grams. AIG Appraised at $20,200.00.
