14KT Yellow Gold 7.38ct Ruby and Diamond Ring RM1249. Great Condition! XD109FZ. One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast ruby and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured ruby is set within a diamond bezel, supported by diamond set shoulders and completed by a one and one-half millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 13.00 x 10.20 x 6.30mm, 8% bulge factor, approximate weight of 7.38ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, moderately strong, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/4), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Colored stone Grading report attached. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Twenty-six prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.10 - 1.70 x 1.14mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 26 stones = 0.79ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity I-1 to I-3. Color H-J. Total weight of Ruby 7.38ct. Total weight of Diamonds 0.79ct. Total weight of Ring 5.30gm. AIG appraised at $4,225.00.
