14KT Yellow Gold 7.87ct Ruby and Diamond Ring A5170. Great Condition! PR2001UW. One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast ruby and diamond ring. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured ruby is set within an elaborate diamond set lattice gallery, completed by a two millimeter wide band. Bright polish finish with migraine detailing. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 14.00 x 10.00 x 6.20mm, 10% bulge factor, approximate weight of 7.87ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Twenty-eight prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.00 - 1.90 x 1.17mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 28 Stones = 0.77ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity SI-1 to I- 1. Color G - I. Total Weight of Colored Stones 7.87ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.77ct. Total Weight of Ring 6.46gm. AIG Appraised at $5,300.00.
