One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast & assembled ruby and diamond necklace with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. Seventeen inch length necklace features a ruby and diamond floral pendant supported by a ribbon of rubies and diamonds and terminating in a concealed clasp with safety. Identified with markings of "K14". Containing: One prong set oval mixed cut natural ruby, measuring 14.00 x 12.00 x 7.80mm, 8% bulge factor, approximate weight of 11.39ct. with a medium Red fluorescence, clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded in the setting. Sixty-one prong set oval mixed cut natural rubies, measuring 7.00 x 5.00 x 3.25mm, 6% bulge factor, approximate. Total Weight of 60.39ct, clarity is heavily included, type II, dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 7/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Measurements & the color grade are an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. One Hundred Three prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 3.10 - 2.10 x 1.56mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 103 Stones = 6.73ct. The color grade reflects the entire range of color for this group. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-2 to I-2. Color: G - J. Total Weight of Colored Stones 71.78ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 6.73ct.
