One electronically tested 14KT yellow gold ladies cast ruby and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. The featured ruby is set within a diamond set bezel supported by diamond set shoulders, completed by a four millimeter wide band. Identified with markings of "K14". Condition is new, good workmanship. Containing: One prong set oval cabochon cut natural ruby, measuring 13.96 x 12.15 x 4.50mm, 10%. bulge factor, approximate weight of 9.17ct., clarity is heavily included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. Indications of laboratory high temperature heat treatment, with glass & flux additives. Colored Stone Grading Report attached. Graded in the setting. Ruby has a low tolerance to rhodium plating, repolishing the surface, & ultrasonic cleaning. Twenty-Two prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.80 - 2.70 x 1.65mm (depth est.) approximate. Total Weight of 22 Stones = 1.77ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: SI-1 to I-1 . Total Weight of Colored Stones 9.17ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 1.77ct. AIG Appraised at $7,755.00.
