One electronically tested 18KT white gold ladies cast tanzanite and diamond ring with a bright polish finish. Condition is new, good workmanship. The featured tanzanite is set within diamond lattice gallery, completed by a six millimeter wide band. Trademark is UCG. Identified with markings of "18K 750". Containing: One prong set triangle modified brilliant cut natural tanzanite, measuring 18.04 x 18.75 x 9.92mm, exact weight 20.56ct., clarity is eye clean, type I, medium dark, very slightly grayish, violet color, (GIA V 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light with no distortion, transparent. GIA Gemological Report attached. Graded loose prior to setting in the GIA Laboratory, Report # 6167212008.Tanzanite is a very rare gemstone that is only found in the country of Tanzania. Originally discovered in 1967. Tiffany & Company, named the stone Tanzanite. It is found in the Usumburu Mountains that border the Umba Valley of northern Tanzania. Tanzanite occurs in gray, brown, violet, blue, reddish-purple, & green. The gem is interesting because of its exceptional pleochroism. Rotated in different directions a tanzanite will exhibit multiple changes of color. Tanzanite has a low tolerance to ultrasonic cleaning, and should not be cleaned using this method. Two Hundred Twenty-Two pave & prong set round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.70 - 1.70 x 1.32mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 222 Stones = 5.73ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: VS-2 to SI-2 . Color: F - G Eighty-Eight channel set baguette cut diamonds, measuring from 1.30 x 0.80 x 0.56mm (depth est.) to 2.70 x 1.00 x 0.70mm (depth est.) approximate total weight of 88 Stones = 1.00ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity: VVS-2 to VS-2. Color: F - G. Total Weight of Colored Stones 20.56ct. Total Weight of Diamonds 6.73ct. Total Weight of Ring 24.20 grams. AIGAppraised at $83,530.00.
