One 1988 Royal Canadian 7 coin mint proof set containing: (1) 1 cent Canadian coin, (1) 5 cent Canadian coin, (1) 10 cent Canadian coin, (1) 25 cent Canadian coin, (1) 50 cent Canadian coin, (1) 1 dollar common loon Canadian coin, (1) silver dollar ironworkers coin. This is the only set available which contains both the 1988 silver and the new circulating dollars. The silver dollar marks the 250th anniversary of the Saint Maurice Ironworks in the Province of Quebec. The design is the work of Robert-Ralph Carmichael of Ontario and depicts two ironworkers of the 18th century. The new circulating dollar, bearing the design of the common loon, replaces the nickel dollar. All coins dated 1988.
