One ladies, Vintage Louis case cover wristwatch electronically tested, Case: 17mm x 13mm, 14KT rose gold, Hinged Case Lugs: set with diamonds, Crown: stem wind movement set, Case Cover: diamond and ruby set, Crystal: domed acrylic, Louis Movement: seventeen jewel Swiss unadjusted mechanical. The watch is reminiscent of the jewelry designs from the Art Deco Period. The Paris Exposition of Decorative Arts and Modern Manufacturers in 1925 gave the movement its name. The Art Deco Period is characterized with jewelry designs composed of bold geometric designs, & cubism. Six and one half inch length: ten millimeter width; 14KT rose gold, fixed above the watch dial is a case cover set with diamonds and rubies in a floral pattern. The bracelet is completed by a concealed clasp. Dial: Rose color, signed by Louis, baton pointed guilloche, Blue hands, & numerals, Condition: G-5 Fine. Containing: Eleven prong set single cut diamonds, approximate total weight = 0.44ct. Graded in the setting. Clarity VS-1 to VS-2, Color G - I. Seven prong set round mixed cut natural rubies, approximate total weight of 0.70ct., clarity is moderately included, type II, medium dark, very slightly brownish, slightly purplish red color, (GIA slpR 6/3), cut is good. Transmitting light somewhat diffusely, transparent to translucent. Naturally occurring internal & external characteristics are present. The color grade is an average for the group. Graded in the setting. Total Weight of Diamonds 0.44ct. Total Weight of Colored Stones 0.70ct. Total Weight of Watch 39.07 grams. AIG Appraised at $6,050.00.
